Our new writing nights take place upstairs at The Horse (Closest tube, Lambeth North).
The evening kicks off at 7:30pm and tickets are available on the door. Seating is limited, so pop along early for a drink and a chance to nab one of the comfy leather sofas.

Fancy a theatrical night out? If the answer is ‘yes please!’, get yourself and your friends down to The Horse every month to see some fantastic new writing, presented by the Blackshaw Social Club.
Each month we invite anyone out there with a passion for writing, acting and directing to attend, or take part in, our monthly new writing nights. These nights will offer a selection of rehearsed play readings, poetry and comedy.
A great night out for those who want to see some fantastic theatre, and a perfect opportunity for writers and actors to try out a new idea or hone their skills.

If you would like to be involved in one our new writing nights then we would love to hear from you. Whether you’d like to write or act, there is always an opportunity to take part. We accept submissions at all times, selecting pieces and performers once a month. We are currently accepting submissions for our Next New Writing Night in May.
